Puerto Rican Parade and Cultural Organization of Northwest Indiana, Inc. July 25, 2010: 29th Annual Puerto Rican Parade

This Parade will now be celebrating its 29th year of existence which attracts approximately on an average of 5000 + spectators along the parade route. This Parade highlights the Puerto Rican Heritage and Culture along with Community Organizations, Sponsors, Businesses and Civic and Political Leaders. Your sponsorship donation(s) supplement our program by underwriting the costs of our parade!!

Mission Statement:

As a Puerto Rican (Hispanic) Organization our mission is to be pioneers in emphasizing the positive attributes of “PRIDE IN OUR ROOTS” in as to promote economic development, education, cultural development and advancement in oneself regardless of race, creed, color or religion.  We promote, educate and preserve the Puerto Rican Culture of our past and present history to enhance the self-esteem of our community by means of civic, educational and recreational programs that will involve our heritage, history, music, arts, cuisine, dance and culture.

  1. Does anyone know when the Puerto rican cultural festival and parade is this yr. 2012 in East Chicago? I cant seem to find out when it starts and I go every yr. Please let me know?
