Reviews:
Whether you’re a homesick Boricua or simply out to get your fix of Puerto Rican cuisine, Old San Juan serves up authentic island delicacies. The best stuff isn’t exactly healthy like the arañitas (shreds of plantain, fried together so they cluster together), sorrullitos (fried cheese-filled corn sticks), and alcapurrias (beef-stuffed plantain fritters) but you’ll still be chirping like a giddy coqui on the way out.
Tips
- The Extras: A small store selling Puerto Rican souvenirs and other island keepsakes is located inside the restaurant.
- Save Money: A buffet is served daily, offering a wide variety of signature dishes. Check before ordering, to know if your menu favorites are part of the spread.
