NACOPRW Honors three extraordinary Puerto Rican Women of Distinction
MIAMI, FL : The National Conference of Puerto Rican Women honored three extraordinary Puerto Rican Women of Distinction in Miami, FL. The three women honored were Lucy DelValle-Noriega winner of the 2011 Alicia Baró Achievement Award; Lillian De Los Santos winner of 2011 Outstanding Community Service and Lillian Rivera winner of the 2011 Outstanding Professional Performance & Community Service. The Alicia Baró Achievement Award celebration took place at the DoubleTree Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay I in Miami, FL, on March 27, 2011 the proceeds will go to the NACOPRW scholarship fund. The NACOPRW scholarship is open to female students of Puerto Rican descent who meet the scholarship application requirements. Deadline to submit the NACOPRW Scholarship application is April 18, 2011.
