Summit on Puerto Rican Affairs II

The Summit, entitled, “2011 Summit on Puerto Rican Affairs” to be held in the Kissimmee / Orlando area is pro-business and community minded.  The sponsoring group is Dynamic Community Development Corporation, a 501 (c) (3) Federal and State tax-exempt economic development corporation, with the cooperation of the National Coalition of Puerto Rican Chambers.  The goal is to discuss Business Development Issues, Education, Community Participation, Representation (Re-districting) and trade/commerce/tourism between the markets of Puerto Rico and Florida. A special discussion will be held on the 2010 Florida Puerto Rican demographics.

 

Last year’s Summit, held on May 21, 2010 received wide coverage in both the print media (Orlando Sentinel, La Prensa de Orlando, and The Osceola Star) as well as radio and television (Channel 13, Univision, and Telemundo).  This event has garnered the support of National and local organizations such as:

The Florida State Hispanic Chamber

La Camara de Comercio de Puerto Rico, San Juan

The Hispanic Chamber of Metro Orlando

The National Coalition of Puerto Rican Chambers

The Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce

Hispanic Business Council
