Let
me introduce to you Natividad Soto, the next great thing to revolutionize
the sport of NASCAR. Every once in a while you have an individual
that will make monumental changes for the sport of NASCAR. Nativadad
hopes to become the first latin female driver for NASCAR. Born in
Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and raised in Camden, NJ, Natividad has had
to overcome numberous obstacles throughout her life. After 7 years
of chasing her dream, Natividad will finally turn it into a reality.
To begin this quest, she will start racing in the Grand National
Sportsmen divison in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Former world champion Jose "Chegui"
Torres passed away at the age of 72 this morning in Ponce,
Puerto Rico. An Olympic silver medalist in 1956, Torres
(41-3-1, 29 KOs) knocked out Willie Pastrano in March 1965
to take the WBC and WBA light heavyweight world championship,
which he defended three times. After retiring in 1969, he
served as television commentator, journalist, author, and
became chairman of the NY State Boxing Commission as well
as President of the WBO. He was a member of the International
Boxing Hall of Fame.

mothers side, he is wide-eyed and curious watching the
young boxers train in the ring.
His mother,
Marisol, brought him to Windy City because, like many young
Latino boys in the gym that day, he wont stop fighting
at school. She said her family has a bad temper,

doesnt want Ivan fighting anyone and everyone when he
grows up. She said signing him up for boxing lessons is a
good way to get all of his energy out in the ring instead
of the streets.
