The resident will receive training at Walgreens pharmacies that offer clinical services to chronic diseases such as diabetes, or hypertension. Residents gain insight to medication management, medication reconciliation, and educational and behavioral counseling. Longitudinal learning experience offer the resident the opportunity to practice continuously throughout the year with focus in direct special areas such as specialty pharmacy, medication and disease state management, routine and other immunizations and clinical practice management.
