Barrio Poetix

Come and celebrate as we continue our collaboration with Barrio Poetix! A beautifully mindful and entertaining series, hosted and curated by Mariposa Fernández.
On November 14th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, you can bask in ancestral energy of the drums played by Bombayo! They will accompany the incredible poetry brought to you by the Uptown Nuyorican Spotlight features, Cecilia Delgado and Urayoán Noel. If all of the music and poetry leaves you feeling inspired, you will have the opportunity to show us what you got during our limited open mic.
The event is FREE to the public and there will be refreshments and exquisite cuisine from Chef Frances Román throughout the evening. This is only the beginning of the fun that you’ll experience at La Marqueta this month.
