Puerto Rico Civic Club

Founded in 1951 by San Jose Puerto Ricans who wanted to share their culture with the South Bay communities.  A 501(c)3 social club open to anyone that wants to learn about and enjoy the Puerto Rican culture.

In 2016 we were able to make San Jose History Park our monthly gathering place. Our club is open to helping our communities and brings awareness to day to day issues that surround our families. As well as we have hosted a number of activities throughout the year.

We are also a sister club to the Western Region Puerto Rican Council – WRPRC. These funds are used towards tuition, school supplies, and living expenses.  CCPR is proud to be a part of the WRPRC in helping our future reach their highest levels of education. Please visit WRPRC.org to learn more about their scholarship details.  Click on the CCPR Scholarship application tab to learn more our CCPR Scholarship. We welcome and encourage our youth to take part in activities and leadership roles by offering to assist with the Board and the annual activities that the club host.

Some of our goals for 2017 are to bring educational and work resources to our members. If you are an outreach, educational, or cultural organization that would like to share with our group we welcome you to contact our board to arrange to present to our members.
